This problem with my mouse began 3 weeks ago (I don't know what triggered it) So, I bought a new wireless keyboard/mouse combo and discovered that my clicks work but it won't scroll. Keyboard is fine but it is annoying to get around the internet with just keyboard...doable, which I've just recently found out but annoying nonetheless. I've tried rebootin and switching keyboard and mouse ports ...
You also might like to see if you disabled the Touchpad on your S300 Lenovo. Press Red Fn key, between left control and windows key, while simultaneously pressing the F6 along the top of keyboard. Above just breadcrumb trail. Fn + F6 key turns on and off touchpad.

Mar 23, 2016 · I say get stuck because it sat there trying to install the driver for 6 hours. I canceled the process and most things seem to be working decently enough except for my trackpad. I can't scroll on the trackpad or worse, I can't even figure out how to right click.
